The remit from The Robert Clack School was to provide a sound system for their new dance studio. To achieve this Clarity installed four high quality Yamaha 8 inch white loudspeakers in each corner of the studio, fitted to an adjustable bracket and secure safety wire. As you can see from the photograph all cabling is discreetly hidden away.
So that sound can be provided from multiple sources a portable equipment trolley was supplied containing a Yamaha mixer/amplifier, a Denon CD/media player and an Audio Technica radio microphone system with a wireless headset microphone. A fully labelled, custom connection panel was included in the front of the trolley, allowing audio from a computer and other external audio sources to be connected easily with the supplied cables. Installing this panel in the front of the trolley isolates all the inputs into one place, preventing any confusion about where audio devices are plugged in. A sliding drawer stores useful equipment such as remote controls, microphones and cables.
