Eastbury Community School is a new build school for Barking and Dagenham designed to expand Eastbury Comprehensive School as well as creating a Nursery and Primary School all on the one site. When it is fully up and running this will make it one of the largest schools in the country.
The building project began in September 2015 and the primary school opened its doors a year later. Having worked with the original school, Clarity first became involved with the new build project in March 2016 with the design proposals.
Working alongside the main building contractor, Wates Construction, Clarity subsequently installed the new sound, theatrical lighting and projection systems for the new Primary building, as well as a new sound and video system into the school’s fitness gym. Finally, Clarity supplied the school with 70 x ELMO L-12iD, an all-inclusive visualiser/document cameras for teachers.
